Allen (he/him) is a Taiwanese-American cinematographer residing in Toronto, Ontario. He is a graduate of Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts with over a decade of experience in the film industry as a grip. He is deeply interested in telling stories which celebrate the human spirit and uplift diverse voices. His series Streams Flow From a River had its international premiere at the Canneseries Festival 2023. Another series Get Up, Aisha, is slated for release on CBC Gem, and his short Unibrow won multiple awards at Reel Asian 2023. On days off, he enjoys foodie adventures with his wife, kayaking, film photography, and supplementing his Mandarin proficiency with Cantonese. “M Goi!”
